Hands down my new favorite species! These guys are an absolute treat to see in person and to work with! A truly spectacular species hybridized by Imperial Scientific. This is a hybrid cross of Psilocybe thaiaerugineomaculans cf. and Psilocybe niveotropicalis, from Section Caerulescentes, that thrives in warmer temperatures and typically fruits within the same year as it was expanded to woodchips. Ideal substrate consists of mixed hardwood chips or mulch. This fruited for me in Wisconin in August, at temperatures of 65F to 95F, after the bed was started only 3 months earlier! If you're new to woodlovers, I recommend no species before this one.
